Just another way to eat these party favorites and these are a little healthier for you as we are not using any crazy cheese sauce for dipping nor are they fried although if you fry a wing properly there will be less fat than one that was baked with more fat still on it. (fact jack)

Ingredients

  • Dozen chicken wings tips off and split into lips and sticks
  • 2 shots of tequila I used patron silver
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • Teaspoon finely chopped garlic
  • Tablespoon finely chopped cilantro
  • Kosher salt

Directions

Start by marinating the chicken in the tequila and juice of one lime for at least and hour if not overnight.

Now into a 400 degree oven season the chicken and bake until they are golden brown.
In a pot whisk the honey, garlic, cilantro and juice of one lime and bring to a simmer for a few min.
Now chicken in large bowl and toss until coated with the dressing and serve with lime wedges.

Simple and delicious!
