Ingredients
- 2 cups or more of broccoli heads trimmed and cut into bite size pieces
- Olive oil
- Kosher salt
- Regular breadcrumbs
Beer Cheese Sauce:
- One beer
- 2 cups of sharp cheddar cheese
- One cup of cream cheese
- One tablespoon flour
- One jalapeno diced
- One garlic clove finely diced
Directions
Beer Cheese Sauce:
Put the beer in a pot and bring to a boil, cut the heat back and add the cheddar and flour mixing until the cheese has melted.
Now add the cream cheese, garlic and Jalapeno and stir until all melted.
Keep warm on the side.
Method:
Start by making the cheese sauce as it will be good for many applications and set aside.
Take your broccoli and put it in a bowl with some olive oil kosher salt and a good handful of breadcrumbs and mix until the broccoli is coated.
On a baking sheet roast them at 400 degrees for until they are just starting to char on some of the tips.
Take out and plate with cheese sauce on the side.
