Simple stuff as long as you know how to properly grill a steak. I used about a 1 ½ inch piece of rib eye for this which I marinated in soy, brown sugar, sesame oil and miram for about 2 days. I then grilled it to a perfect medium rare as you can see in the picture and served it with this amazing summer salsa.

Servings

2 servings

Ingredients

  • Thick Cut Rib eye steak

Mango Salsa:

  • One fresh mango diced
  • Teaspoon of cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika or smoked paprika
  • Good drizzle of olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon of sugar

Directions

Start by making the salsa as the longer it sits the better flavor it has, just combine all the ingredients and mix well. . Grill your steak of choice I suggest medium rare, let sit and rest for a few min then slice not to thin and finish with the mango salsa. If your shaking your head as to how this flavor works try it and you will know how awesome this combination is. This salsa works on chicken too.
