This took 5 min to make and I’m not kidding I timed it. Those greens are so good for you as well as being so much flavor. I kicked it up with some chilies and some chili paste. Here is how it went down. The key here is to stir fry properly you need high heat and you can’t overcrowd the wok or everything will steam and not fry. Work in small batches if you need to.

Servings

2 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 Chinese broccoli
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped ginger
  • 3 minced cloves of garlic
  • On chili chopped
  • One shallot chopped
  • 3 oz thin sliced rib steak

Sauce:

  • Teaspoon chili paste
  • Tablespoon light soy sauce
  • Teaspoon of brown sugar

Directions

I heated my wok on high for 5 min then added canola oil and it was smoking hot.
I added the steak, chilies, garlic and ginger and let it caramelize for 30 seconds then worked it around then I transferred it to a bowl.

I add the Chinese broccoli and it starts to wilt down right away. I then make some room in the middle and pour the sauce in and it immediately thickens up.
I add back the rest of the ingredients and stir fry together for 30 second then plate.

That’s it 5 min and I had amazing lunch. You can even see the char on the beef in the photos which brought out amazing flavors.

I finished it with a little chili sesame oil and saracha!
