Ingredients
- 12-16 oz of tuna filet
- vegetable oil
- kosher salt and pepper
Tuna Sauce
- light soy sauce
- rice wine vinegar
- dash of sesame oil
Salad
- 4 cups of your favorite green mix
- favorite vinaigrette
Directions
Keeping this one as simple as possible start by making the sauce for the tuna. Mix the soy, rice wine vinegar and sesame oil together and into the fridge.
Next get your salad ready, take your favorite greens, get creative add ANYTHING you love to it being chick peas, cheese, fried won tons it does not matter get it all into a bowl and into the fridge and important NO DRESSING as of yet that will come.
Take your tuna and give it a rub with some vegetable oil and season each side with kosher salt and pepper. Now into a hot pan with a little oil in it sear each side for about one minute. Take out and put into the fridge for a few minutes.
Take your salad mix out now and add a simple dressing, splash a little red wine vinegar and a a little olive oil and mix together from the outside of the bowl to the inside we don’t want to crush the greens.
To plate take your tuna and slice into even slices and finish with a drizzle of the sauce and some sesame seeds.
That’s it, took me ten minutes to make and this was in fact a meal I served my friends they could not believe how little time it took. So no more excuses that there is no time to cook something really good and healthy I just proved it
