Ingredients
- Fresh brussel sprouts
- Olive oil
- Juice of half a lemon
- Kosher salt
- Pancetta or bacon cut into lardons
Directions
In a pan or on a tray put washed Brussel spouts, olive oil and kosher salt and toss together until nicely coated.
Now place the lardoons around the brussel sprouts and make sure that they are not stacked on each other. You want the brussel sprouts to have their own cooking space so they get nice heat and a bit of char and don’t steam themselves.
Now place ins a hot 400 degree oven for about 20 min checking on them and once they start to brown give them a little move around the pan and continue in the oven until they caramelize nicely.
Remove and add a little lemon juice….these will be like candy.
