- Tablespoon light soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon sesame oil. Combine all ingredients in a small pot and bring to a light boil stirring until slightly reduced. Check for taste and adjust more sweet, more salt etc.
- one cup fresh squeezed orange juice bottled will also work fine
Directions
For miso glaze: combine all ingredients in a small pot and bring to a light boil stirring until slightly reduced. Check for taste and adjust more sweet, more salt etc.
Take the salmon and depending on the thickness score some cuts into the flesh.
This allows the miso to get in there and give you more flavor and texture.
Cover the entire piece of salmon with the glaze and don’t be shy put a lot on. Now hit it in a 375 degree oven for about 15-20 min depending on the size of your filet. When its just about done crank the oven to broil. It’s ready when the miso starts to burn a little, take out and let it rest for 10 min at least.
Finish with some chopped scallion and go to town on this beautiful dish.
It is so luscious with the hint of orange and saltiness of the miso it’s just perfect.
Enjoy
