- 3/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried Oregano
- 1 Tbsp sweet Paprika
- 2 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1 tsp Red Cayenne Pepper (adjust to your heat level)
Directions
Blackened Seasoning: Just combine all ingredients mix and store until use.
Tarter Sauce: just combine everything and into the fridge until use
Take your salmon filet and put it into a pan with a little olive oil on the bottom. Put about a tablespoon of the blackened seasoning on top of the filet and some on the bottom of the pan. Season with a little kosher salt and pepper and into a 400 degree oven. After about 6-8 min you will see a lot of fat coming out of the salmon, add the butter to the pan and once melted start basting the fish and do this once a min until the salmon is done depending on how you like you salmon cooked.
Plate salmon drizzle of of the now blackened butter around the plate and serve with a good dollop of tartar sauce.
Enjoy!
