Ingredients
- Toasted sesame seed hamburger bun, plus one more bottom bun
- Slice of American cheese
- 3 slice of pickles
- Finley chopped scallion
- Baby spinach
- Spicy mayo
Salmon patties:
- One pound of salmon filet skin removed
- one chopped scallion
- one egg
- teaspoon of Dijon mustard
- squeeze of lemon juice
Directions
Salmon patties:
One pound of salmon filet skin removed, now with a knife chop it until it is pretty fine. Now add one chopped scallion, one egg, teaspoon of Dijon mustard and a squeeze of lemon juice. Mix everything together well. Now I used a ring mold form a thin patty but you can do it by wetting your hands and forming them into a patty size you want. Now I put mine in the fridge overnight to let the flavors meld and more importantly let the patty firm up.
Method:
Start by grilling or frying your patties about 90 seconds each side and then let rest. Now to assemble, start by toasting the buns a little, now with the bottom bun add some baby spinach and the slice of American cheese followed by some of the spicy mayo , the first salmon patty a few scallions. Now place the middle bun on and put some more spicy mayo on followed by more baby spinach , the 2nd patty, the pickles and some more of the chopped scallions finished with the crown top bun and that’s it!
I thought this tasted great, the cheese works well I know I know but it does ..
